Balmain’s New Creative Director Announced

After health problems that stopped Christopher Decarnin from attending the 2011-12 shows and resulted in him leaving the Fashion House altogether. There has been a lot of uncertainty but finally news on the street and confirmed by the firm is that French designer Olivier Rousteing who grew up in Bordeaux and has worked for the company since 2009, has been named new Creative Director of Balmain! Oliver will over see both woman swear and menswear collections.
