Textures are really big at the moment and non so much it seems as feathers. They are literally floating through every trend imaginable including fashion, accessories and even tree decorations.

Of course we must be careful and not risk the possibility of looking like a giant chicken.

Beware of over fluffy feathers. The more they stick out, the wider you will look.

Don’t over-do this look. Keep the feathers to a minimum and wear one statement piece.

Mix the feather trend with denim or leather for that edgy contrast.

Be careful with colours. Muted colours and black is easy to wear and easy to match. However if you are feeling daring you can even go with red or blue as a true statement but you will need to keep everything else plain. However stay well clear of the bright pinks and garish colours, you don’t want to look like your on a girls night out.

It’s best when wearing a feathered dress to keep all other accessories and jewellery to a minimum. Keep it simple and keep it sweet.
