Galliano Sacked from Own Label

Further to our post in February ‘Galliano Arrested in Paris‘, the British-born designer has now been sacked from his own label.
Galliano was previously relieved of his role as Head Designer at couture house Christian Dior, following allegations of anti-Semitic remarks, but had retained his post under his own label until today.
Dior, which owns a whopping 91% of Galliano’s business, has reportedly handed control of designing a new collection to it’s own in-house fashion team.
Galliano is set to stand trial in June, he faces a potential 6 month prison sentence.
