It’s not quite Christmas yet but it’s certainly cocktail season and with it getting dark much earlier we girls need an outfit we can morph quickly and efficiently from daytime workwear, to night time happy hour.

Pick a sweet and simple dress nothing to fancy or you’ll look over-dressed at the office. A nice neutral shade means that you can play around with colourful accessorise. However, because metallics are in this season we felt a like precious metal shine was definitely in order.

For the office, there’s nothing better than being able to look amazing when you haven’t even taken your coat off yet. This season, a must have is a floor length coat which is quite a relief as the chilly weather is fast approaching.

This is mind, pair with some cute decorative pumps and a big bag for that slightly french chic/ Audrey Hepburn look.

After a hard day at work it’s always a good to meet the girls for a drink or two…or three. But when time is not on your side simply grabbing a few key items can mean the difference between evening gorgesness and rushed off your feet mess.

A pair of sparkly heels is just a must and because you’ve been wearing flats all day, your feet should be nice and relaxed.

Decant the essential items of the big bag into an over-sized clutch (another seasonal trend) for the chic look.

Finally lose the full length coat and think sleek leather cropped jacket for an edge that with take breaths away as you enter the room.

You are finally ready to hit the cocktail bar, feeling fine and looking fabulous.
